While the first three are things which obviously go together hand-in-hand, one might not consider Amish Country and high school girls basketball a perfect match.
Yet, after 11 wonderful seasons, Classic in the Country, one of the premier high school girls basketball showcases in the nation, is gearing up for its 12th edition.
Classic in the Country was the brainchild of Tom Jenkins, director of Ohio Girls Basketball Report, and David Schlabach, coach of the four-time state champion Hiland Lady Hawks.
